ferram4
It sounds like you've got some kind of engine config conflict going on. The RD-170 makes more thrust than the F-1 does (with better Isp too) at the cost of a lower TWR. Make sure you're using the most up-to-date versions of SFJackBauer's RealEngines and RealFuels and that you don't have the RftS engines in there (or keep RftS engines but get rid of RealEngines; they conflict). jrandom
I'm wondering if I'm getting an engine conflict as well: the FASA twin aerojet engine thingy (launch stage for the gemini, I believe) doesn't show any delta-v stats with either RftS nor StockAlike engine configs, and with StockAlike I get two "Show Engine GUI" buttons in the right-click menu. The engine still works as advertized, but the lack of delta-v/thrust info in KerbalEngineer / MechJeb makes it tricky to use.Do I have a conflict somewhere or are others seeing this same thing?(This is with the latest versions of RO/RF/FASA)
NathanKell
Now this is a thread I haven't seen in a long, long time. (I think you meant to post in the thread in Addon Releases...)It does sound like an issue, although it may well be my failing to have RO as up to date as I should. Try grabbing it from source and replacing your existing RO folder.

I have to find some sort of sustenance before I keel over, but when I get back I'll go dig around in the source and try that!
jrandom
So I tried the latest GitHub version of RO and it fixes the engine issue! Woot!
Motokid600
So with RCS.. The only option is to send fuel lines to each engine or attatch them directly to an rcs tank? I'm finding this very problematic with smaller designs. Right now this particular launch vehicle I'm working on is very small and the second stage needs help with attitude. But I cannot for the life of me tuck tanks, ports and fuel lines under this tiny .72m stage. I have good rcs ports that fit and small tanks, but I can't feed them. Despite the ports and tanks being right next to eachother they will not feed fuel. And the fuel lines are twice the size of the rcs ports and do not attatch to any of my rcs tanks. Any tips? NathanKell
I really don't know why you posted that here; I have answered on the Real Fuels thread (the relevant thread), and I have closed this thread as all RO discussion (about RO proper, not a submod like Real Fuels) should by now be on the release thread, as the OP states.
