So, top 14 Space Games you should be excited about. Guess what's on it

Of course Kerbal is on there. So is Star Citizen, a game I'm ashamed to admit I backed.

It's a game I'm glad I didn't back... Roberts is selling the GD Eifel Tower, enjoy your disappointment. XD

I backed Star Citizen for $30, but I'm not giving them anymore of my money.

The add-ons are so insanely over priced it's either going to be;

A) Dissapointing for those who paid $170 for a ship to see people who paid $30 flying that same ship 1 week after the game launches.

or

B) Dissapointing for those who paid $30 having to grind their way for months to be even able to crawl at the feet of the rich people who paid 4-5 times above what the average game charges.

Either way it's a misuse of crowd funding.

1. I didn't know that there were 14 space games.

2. Most of the aren't my bag :/

3. Star Citizen sounds good but Mr. Roberts isn't getting a dime until he delivers!

4. KSP is the best of all of the 14 games, naturally.

Yeah, I found this list through the SC forums (a game for which I've pledged £70/$105 :confused: (got myself an Aurora LX and an Avenger though)). I'll admit that I wasn't thinking of KSP when I found the list, and so I had a nice surprise and thought "Why didn't I think KSP would be on this list??"

I was under the impression that it would just be games like Star Citizen and X: Rebirth. It's definitely good to see that our not-so-little space program is getting well-noticed. And to think it's been something like a year and a half since I started playing the old demo. The game has come a long way, both in development and publicity, and that's something that makes me smile inside a little bit :)

I've been calling Star Citizen a likely scam since I first saw their site. Millions of dollars, no release date, and they keep asking for more?

Release of the space action alpha is later this year.

Some people expect a full fledged Free-Wing-Eve-lancer-Online-Space-Commander though. They will be disappointed.

@Galileo

Have to agree with you, KSP has probably absorbed more of my spare time then any other game I have played, and at 53, trust me, I have played a lot of games :-)

Don't know about the Squad team's financials, but I bet they haven't spent 22 million getting it to it's present impressive stage !
