OX-STAT panels are much better than 1x6 or 2x3 panels. RTGs are useless.

When you are approx. 600 meters from impact on Kerbin, deploy your 'chutes. They'll stop you then!

1)Ion engine are useful when you need to do fast manoeuvre.

Also,as they are very efficient, try to use them on every stage.

2) Solar panel work better when you are going fast in a atmosphere, especially the orientable ones;use them at that moment to charge your batteries.

It is most efficient to use SRB's as planetary lander stages.

Turbojets are great for interplanetary transfers.

NEVER use Mainsals on launch stages, they are primarily for rovers.

Impact probes give much more science than landers. Manned impactors give the most science.

Go straight up, never turn.

during launch, always give 50% throtlle max. You want to save all that fuel for later.

When in doubt, decouple everything. The launch vehicle will safely fly past the payload.

The orange parachutes are the most powerful and can slow a craft of over eighteen tons.

Also, Eve doesn't exist.

When making spaceplanes, be sure to have the blue sphere (center of lift) all the way at the back, and the yellow sphere (center of mass) all the way to the front. This leads to stable atmospheric flight.

By far the easiest planet to land on is Jool.

The Mun may not be made of cheese, but the Moon definitely is. Also, Minmus is made out of green rubber. I bounce off of it all the time.

Minmus haves very low-g, so you can land without engine!

Eve atmosphere is so thick that you can lunch just by pulling your chutes, to pull the chutes,you have to do an EVA.

Put thousands of those Sepatron motors on the stage you want to separate. The black side is an air intake, when you activate it, the white side opens and the fire comes out of it. Your staging will fly away, in a negative direction.

When you want to go to a celestial body just point at it and fire.

Remember, the game is still in development and the models are subject to change any time. What looks like a capsule can be a rocket engine! Go ahead and put one on the bottom of your rocket to test that out.
