HeadHunter67
Oh, you wacky Russians! It's not enough that you make such cool spacecraft in real life, but now you all get up in KSP and give us all this crazy, fun tech too?(Don't ever stop. áÿðÑÂøñþ !) Mihara
I generally avoid self-promotion, but people who want this capsule IVA to be done sooner can help out by downloading the monitor plugin and helping me whip it into shape.
AceofPengwins
Ooh. I want this to work. I'm going to have to download your monitor and mess with it. I This capsule looks pretty cool to begin with and I'm definitely interested in seeing more IVAs with functional displays.
alexustas
This is a mockup of IVA screen layouts and their positions, please comment/criticise and tell us what's missing or is extraneous
sharpspoonful
Nope thats pretty much how I imagined a layout. Spot on!
Helix935
how about angling the monitor so that there would be more room for a large window
alexustas
how about angling the monitor so that there would be more room for a large windowwhich one?
sharpspoonful
If you angle the bottom monitor, you'll end up restricting the docking window, and the top monitor should be at an angle, as that surface is already at an angle.
Helix935
which one?i mean monitor #
Nostromo
alexustas you are one of my favorite modders, even your explanations of your intentions are freaking awesome.
p1t1o
My preference would be to decrease the size of screen #3 and either put in another window, or increase the size of those present. If its not possible to increase window sizes, is it possible to display a "camera" view on it? like the view directly above the pod? therealcrow999
What are those side pods near the landing legs?Could make nice Apollo like LEM, cool.
Guest
I'm really loving this lander cabin! Here's the latest iteration of the MEM on a Kerbal-orbit shakedown test.
Tommygun
I ran into an issue with the bottom node of the cabin when trying to build this. The bottom node is quite large and if you use a low profile decoupler the cabin's node passes through the decoupler and attaches to the fuel tank below. When I tried to decouple and take off from the surface, the coupler blew away, but the cabin remained attached to the bottom gold fuel tank.If I use a large decoupler the problem goes away. I think with a smaller bottom node it wouldn't be a problem.

Mihara
If its not possible to increase window sizes, is it possible to display a "camera" view on it? like the view directly above the pod?Camera display on monitors is next on my list after I'm done with displaying variables on monitors. It appears possible, but there's no end to annoyances Unity might throw your way when doing something like that, so no promises. Railgunner2160
The engine appears to be one of ZZZ's models that he did for KSPI, I also see the capacitors from the Near Future mod, looks like some B9 parts, the RTGs from AIES aerospace and the SDHI service module & dockingport....
