Youtube sillyness

I was lurking on this thread: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/53654-A-dropship-for-the-working-man-%28or-woman%29 where Cupcake makes several beautiful VTOL SSTO and video demonstrations. Then I subscribes to him. After that, several days later, he releases a new video about his new Pixie the ultralight SSTO. Then I clicked on the video and it says that the video is blocked in this country by SACEM, UMPI and EMI of copyright grounds. I think that its kinda normal, as my country (Indonesia) love to pirate everything from windows xp to Microsoft SQLite Server, Autocad 2013 and even Xilinx FPGA ISE (!?)

Then several days later Cupcake posted a link to the original movie music , which is this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eo4u4JJAPGk Then after I scrolled down a bit I found this comment:

Say, emimusic, one quick question. What the hell makes it OK for you to block this on Royksopp's own channel? Oh, I know that it's legal, and your sharks...errr, lawyers have made it legal, What I'm asking is what makes it OK?

I guess they wanted to focus all the views on one video to max profit.

Because I'm curious, I tried to find Royksopp's own channel, and found it:

and it was blocked by EMI in copyright ground. But the video from emimusic isn't blocked! And because that above comment was present I think this doesn't just happened in my own country

Then after I googled, I found that EMI stands for British multinational music recording. Which is weird, because when I tried to use free cloud VPN UK that original music video is blocked.

Now, what do you think about this?

I think this is the same problem as we (in germany) have with GEMA.

GEMA wanted to get money from YouTube for the music of any artist that is represented by them, Youtube denied to pay the price that was demanded and an agreement couldn´t be reached (despite the fact that Youtube had reached agreements with national music syndicators from other countries ... GEMA was just more greedy than them)

As a result Youtube blocks the transmission of any Video that contains GEMA music for german users. Even if it is the official Youtube channel of the artist.

As the artist transfer all rights of their music to GEMA, as soon as they become a member of them, the artists themselves don´t have any say in it ... the wouldn´t even be allowed to give their music for free on their own homepages (unless they would pay GEMA for every download [and would get back only a fraction of the money in roxalties, unless they are one of the "Stars" or play Classic or German Schlager [music styles that are treated preferentially because there are many artists of this music style in the managing board of GEMA]]).

It is rather ridiculous to see artists that are not well known outside of germany be blocked to german users while the rest of the world can watch their music videos :D
