What isn't working? I made a backup and loaded my save. I'm still early in career mode with only 3 satellites in orbit with dishes for Mun and Minmus missions. I have a few unmanned probes on the Mun and a couple out orbiting. Everything seems to be working fine, the probes lose connection when it loses LOS of Kerbin, and even the flight computer worked. Like I said, I'm early in the tech tree, so I only have communication parts that can get me to Mun and Minmus.

For me there's no UI in the tracking station. The plugin itself might work but if it doesn't draw the connections then it gets difficult.

I'm having a strange problem, which seems to be caused by remotetech. After staging twice (usually) the staging "commands" (and all other commands) just start stacking up in the flight computer. I still have control and can enable/disable rcs and sas, but not much else.

Also not the entirely correct place to complain,the issue is more likely cause by a change of how engines are classed & mechjeb not recognizing them,for now I'm going to play vanilla sandbox for my channel & hope that in .24 I can get a very good ground based network up

No UI in tracking station, but the map/tracking view in flight does show connection lines as expected.

I was about to say this. It looks to me like the rest of the mod is perfectly fine so far. It's only in the tracking station that I see a problem.

Cilph do your life and have fun doing it ... 4 hours is appreciated. I'm thankful to have what we have!! Could be worse!! Mechjeb tanked!! They got it fixed but at least the functionality is still there with this mod :)

Is it possible to add the RemoteTech parts to vehicles now, even though RemoteTech itself doesn't work, start building the networks and when 0.24 comes around, turn RemoteTech back on, and have everything be nice a dandy?

Yes. Just delete the RemoteTech DLL, and you'll still have the parts. They might not work with the stock science system, though.

Cilph, please do not break backwards compatability! Unless it is really worth breaking backwards compatability it to integrate some kind of fanstastic new feature.

Were you thinking of adding something awesome that would make it worth starting a new game?

Yes. Just delete the RemoteTech DLL, and you'll still have the parts. They might not work with the stock science system, though.

You need to pull the CFGs for the Squad antennas or they won't work without RemoteTech installed.

no need to delte the .dll it works fine just in tracking station u dont see your connection lines. since u dont see your lines for connection in tracking station means u have to jump to the ship to see it.

@sokar that wont work either if he redoes rt then things will work differnt. just play with current version till update and then start a new game. .24 suppose to have the new contract system or something so u probaloy have to start new carrer to get it work right anyway.

The issue is when you reactivate remote tech you will need to go into your save file and manually activate and aim every antenna, this is a charlie foxtrot

You could always edit the omni range on probe cores to encompass the entire system. Use that connection to flip antennas/dishes back on, quit, and revert the change to the probe cores.

What? I didn't have to edit any save file whatsoever and all my connections work fine ... and like the others I'm not having any issues with this mod except for the tracking station UI

I think you're going to have to do that anyway. ANY change to the antennas (like a new mod version) causes them to reset.

Dude, read the posts! :P

They're talking about disabling RT until the .24 version. If you disable it now and launch new probes with RT parts, when you come to re-enable RT they wouldn't be connected.

But as you say, the only issues are minor so no real need to disable it.

I need some help with RT2. I am using 0.23 version of ksp and 1.3.3 of RT2. It was working fine for some days, but suddenlyit broke completely. 90% of my ships that were using antennas to communicate duplicated themselves several times and when i click on antenna with right mouse button while playing it has duplicated commands in the antenna screen (like 2 "Activate/Deactivate" buttons, 2 "Aim antenna at" buttons) and when i click each of them - nothing happens. I have tried hotfix from this thread (post 2152, page 216) but it didn't help. Could anyone help me with this problem please?
