1. 'Round and round it goes,

2. where it stops, nobody knows

3. My name is what I do;

4. I'll take all your goo.

5. I'll run until you stop me,

6. But too much hard stuff makes me halty

Note that the first couplet says "it", but the rest uses "I." This is not a mistake. I suppose I should have ended with the standard "What am I?" question, but the "it" is the generic something "I" take. It is not important what "it" is. I suppose "it" doesn't always go 'round and 'round.

The 3rd line is key, the noun of what "I" am is also a verb.

The closest answers so far would be a waste/garbage disposal, assuming these guesses referred to the undersink appliance which also goes under the brand name "garburetor." A toilet would also be pretty close.

It has nothing to do with KSP or rockets in general, aside from the fact the verb occurs during flight as well as a scrub, but happens all the time in everyday life as well.

Hopefully I haven't just given it away.

Nice! I was sure the concrete mixer guessed earlier was going to be it.

New riddle:

In the sky or on the ground

In the market sometimes found

Colored white and brown and black

Few survive any attack

Eight different types plus major, minor

I wish I was a better rhymer.
