Riddles

Is it a riddle or a riddler?

You're on the right track, but that answer is insufficient.

The riddle:

Twisting words and making rhyme,

All for pleasure to pass the time.

Filled with meaning and knowledge obscure,

I'll challenge your mind of this I'm sure.

Others try to pass my test,

But mine are harder than the rest.

My words sometimes fill some with fear,

Been sharing them for over a year.

One moment... gotta get my laptop. Tabet touch-keyboard is not the best for riddle writing.

Here we go!

Seven stacks, each larger than the last,

It is soon to be a thing of the past.

Twice-hued sheets,

And thirteen faces,

Each destined for different places.

What am I?

Correct! I was hoping a meta-riddle would be a little tougher, maybe I should have obfuscated things a bit more.

You're up, Starwhip. :)

*grumbles* I always miss these. That's twice now I've missed my own. :(

Hold up -- that's solitaire, isn't it?!

A wheel of flesh, born unscarred,

Gathering dust, waiting -- always.

My fate is forced upon my glaze,

Yet I have not mind, will, or heart.

My clear, unmarked skin is worn

Back to the barest of bare bones,

Then cast aside in dying groves,

Of endless bones and bodies torn.

My flawless skin is lean and greased,

And clings tightly to my pale flesh;

Nature dictates its grip be fresh,

But Fate demands its hold released.

I'm torn once, again, rent asunder,

Tossed aside, and tasked to guard

Some lifeless thing, like a steward,

Until at last my will goes under.

Who am I?

Ghouls? (That doesn't really fit the first line, though) Eh, I guess. What are you thinking? (I'm thinking it's some type of plant life, like a vine or something poisonous)

Hmm, that fits fairly well. It could be like a coiled vine or lily pad, but I don't really think it's right. (But it could be. We don't know) That's very true.

Ya know, it could be a carnivorous plant. A pitcher plant came to my mind just now. The only thing that doesn't make sense about it is the fourth line of the third verse. (Maybe like a sundew?) Nah, the fourth verse excludes that.

Welp, I haven't a clue. Time to stay up all night! ...Again!

None of those. :D
Oysters or clams. :D
I don't think those have bones... Nope! :)
Dustbunnies?
Nope!
The skin of an Orange?
Since when do oranges have skin even remotely close to flawless? Nope! :P

(I'm thinking something along the lines of a boiled egg shell. Could you at least tell us how close we are, if not even remotely? Say, 1-100? Xan's not gonna be able to sleep tonight with this. Not that he sleeps at night anyway...)

EDIT: Amber?
