ksp music files?

I'm wondering where the game music files would be in the game folder. i am trying to make a album for personal use of the ksp music and some reworks of it. (ksp metal, for example.)

any help?

Not sure...i had to mute the music because of the skipping (.22 minor bug) and repeating (limited soundtrack)

Instead, i stream some Brian Eno, Vangelis or Liquid Dreams while playing...very similar music

Other than a few notes I've never heard the music. From the first few bars I heard on first loading the game on the intro screen, I had the feeling it would grate after a while, so muted it whilst doing the initial settings, and I've never unmuted it.

I think the music files are probably hidden within the mass of files in Kerbal Space Program\KSP_Data.

Apart from the KSP theme (and perhaps the VAB/SPH and R&D building views), all the music used in the game is available freely on the internet, attributed to Kevin MacLeod.

Kevin MacLeod can be found here. Lots and lots of good royalty-free music, some of which you'll recognize from other projects as well. Scott Manley gets his music there.

So far, I found three of the songs used in KSP: Frost Waltz, Frozen Star, and Wizardtorium.

I have no idea, but you can mute the in-game music and play some in the background in Windows. That's what I do... shake and bake, and no (musical) sound lag at all

There's an old mod that you can use to edit the music scenes in KSP. I've experimented with it but because of it's partially annoying interface I've stopped using it. It maight be useful to you though! Here's a link to it.

I really wish it had the ability to set music for the surface of planets or during reentry but it only has the scenes that are stock to KSP. Blizzy (The modder who created toolbar) has said that he could make a music plugin that would have more customizable scenes but I haven't heard any news on that for a while.

I needed copies of the music tracks for easy inclusion in post-edited youtube videos, so what I did was just let KSP run for about 20 minutes with FRAPS recording, then split the music tracks out into WAVs. It was mostly hands-free, so that was easier than trying to track down the correct tracks from Kevin MacLeod, or figure out where in the KSP binary data they're stored, etc.

I was able to remove " track = KSP_Construction02 " This was the track that has the High pitch chimes That also warble from left to right

I like all the others But That one Makes me sick if I leave my headphones on
