I have an idea for a new mod, a surface/space materials bay. it would be a box with a clear animated door that has some substance inside, when the animated door is open you would get a science report. i would like members of the community to design blobs/shapes of a certain size (yet to be determined) for the mod as my skills in modeling are limited to geometric shapes. it would be small (enoght to fit on the side of AIES Explon-d) and modular (baseplate which acts as an unmanned MPL,attach the modules to it to preform science,then reset)

i encountered a problem with the model, im fixing it now. I had accidentally made the center of the stack hollow and couldn't extrude thecylinder both directions in sketchup for some strange reason. I got the nozzle done and am working on texturing it now.

So what's the status? I've just re-discovered an Athena replica mod with which it'd go really nicely. Athena IC and IIC use this instead of Orbus 21D. I could ensure compatibility between the two mods, and it'll be faster than waiting for an Antares lower stage to be made.

Could you not make it look too catroony? "Black with a white nozzle" would look bad if there weren't any details, that sort of simple texture would've looked bad by 0.13 standards.
