Docking anyways?

So, I have a rover and a 'main' base with solar panels on it, but I can't dock, because the dockingports are too high/low, and flying with the rcs I mounted didn't work either, because I didn't place them correct (the center of mass is more in the back). Does anyone have tips for me how I would be able to do it anyways?

Not sure what your asking, but short of a rebuild you ould hack gravity in the debug menu (alt+F12) then use your RCS to dock as normal.

You might try retracting 1 of the legs on the base and see if that brings the docking port within reach of the rover.

RCS won't work unless you have monopropellant somewhere on your craft.

Unless I am horribly mistaken it looks like there is one between the batteries and the pod.

Right, that might be it. It's hard to see though.

Anyway, even with RCS it might be very difficult to get it to apply exactly enough thrust to counteract the gravity and hover against the docking port so you can dock. Best just put it on handbreak and leave it there

Have you tried lowering the base's legs?

This is worth trying; lower the main building, dock, then raise it again. But it might tip over from the unbalanced weight.
