What to listen to while playing KSP

I listen to whatever noises and silly music KSP makes...unless I'm doing something really tedious that doesn't require a lot of my attention (roving long distances; sitting on Ike watching for Magic Boulder; etc.), in which case I'll listen to audiobooks.

OK, it's weird even to me...but i'm often listening to KOTO while playing KSP. It's mind-boggling, because i'm not a huge fan of electronic music.

I heard this song years ago at a sci-fi convention. It didn't occur to me as a KSP-related tune until earlier this week when it came up on shuffle...

In addition to the title and the parts about rockets, it's about recapturing the wonder and charm of classic sci-fi; that seems fitting too.

I have a Pandora station called space specifically for KSP. Usually MGMT, Stars of the Lid, M83, Modest Mouse, Mozart, Beethoven, Explosions is the Sky, Mogwai, Eluvium, Chopin, The Joy Formidable, Passion Pit, and Arcade Fire, amongst others that get tossed in.

Its perfect retro-futuristic styled synth instrumental music fitting with a 1970's space theme, I mean, the albums are called Oxygene, Equinoxe, and Rendex-Vous. You can hardly ask for a better fit.

Just started listening to audio books. Its amazing how much of ksp becomes second nature.

I've was listening to one and got so into the book that i had huge gaps of memory from the game. Moments of "oh..i already put that in orbit" or "now what was i going to do? Oh yer dock that...oh...ive already docked those together" the human mind is truly bizarre!

I've got a Pandora station that plays Goldfinger, Less Than Jake, Streetlight Manifesto, Suburban Legends, Rise Against, NOFX, Plain White Ts, and various other stuff.

I like to keep it with the high energy songs for when I'm in the editors
