Can we see flames out of capsule window on re-entry

I often change camera to get a kerbal-eye view of the mission during the various stages and on re-entry it would be fantastic to see the flames shooting round the capsule just like on the old Apollo re-entry footage.

Can we please have this?

AFAIK, we already do. If the window is pointed in such a way that you can see them.

Already happens. See this video, at about 1:22, for example.

Yep they are visible, though it does depend on angle and they aren't as bright as from the external view.

It's a modified hair shader, it's great in external view, but doesn't really look right from inside.

Ok next time I'll swivel the capsule around a bit on re-entry to try and see them

In reality:

a) they are not flames (nothing is burning)

they do not flicker, but move sluggishly

c) they are not orange, but extremely bright white/yellow/violet/green

They also aren't spectacular when viewed from the capsules. It looks like the window is glowing unevenly.

a) Though it is a plasma and not technically fire, it sure does look fiery and it is hot.

There is nothing sluggish about the flames/plasma/whatever in the Apollo vid

c) They look clearly orange at times to me

Finally, if you don't think the old Apollo re-entry footage is spectacular then that is your opinion, but I think it is very spectacular and that is what I want to see when I look out of the window when I'm in there with the Kerbals, all I'm seeing at the moment is the view.
