Favorite moon? Except Laythe!!!

2 I don't really consider it a moon, in my eyes it's more like an actual planet. Don't get me wrong though, i love laythe to: atmosphere, o2, awesome views etc.

Dude, i would do monkey dance of joy if we'd have a Laythe-like body in our Solar system. Lots of liquid water on the surface, dense atmosphere full of oxygen, possibility of life (that oxygen didn't came out of nothing) = prime target for any space exploring civilisation.

Minmus. Since there's a mysterious force that prevents me from going out of the Kerbin system and because landing on Mun is so hard, I've grown an attachment to Minmus. Sure, we've had Bad Timesâ„¢, like the lake bed thing, but overall it's my favourite moon.

Mun is my favorite. It started my adventures when I was new to KSP. I do truly love the Mun, as I wouldn't be out at Eeloo without it!

We have one, Titan: might not have liquid water but it does have some liquid hydrocarbons like methane+ it has a thick atmosphere but still it is not the prime target for space exploration even though life might be possible their (although unlikely)

Minmus by far: Flat level terrain, low escape velocity requirements, usually Kethane on the plains for refueling....

it's the obvious place for a "hop base" to the outer solar system...

Gilly is pretty awesome! The light gravity makes it great for mining Kethane because it's so easy to get back into orbit. It's also a great place to test strange landers (grappling hooks everywhere), and it's also an excellent place to deorbit and crash things in slow motion.

Voted Pol just because it's the most recent one I visited and returned from. Gravity is low enough that you can jetpack down from an orbiting craft and return again via jetpack.

Given that Laythe isn't an option, definitely Minmus. The gravity bothers me occasionally (so much falling over) but it's a nice little moon to get to and back from.

Gilly or Mun. Mun looks nice, Gilly is annoying (thus fun).

The Mun: It is close enough to Kerbin, has low enough gravity for bases but not too low, has many anomalies. Second place would be Bop because KRAKEHN

I like them all, but I voted for Minmus because it's small, low-G, easy to get to, there are plenty of flat surfaces for landing/base-building, very little dV required for the return trip to Kerbin, and it's far enough out there to feel like the trip is a bit of an adventure.

It's also a fairly safe destination for kerbals, as regaining orbit is a breeze in the event of an aborted landing.

I love Mun, but the novelty wore off somewhere around my ten gazillionth landing.

Minmus, as it is the only other moon I have been other than the Mun. Plus the landscape with the Mun and Kerbin in the background is freakin' sweet.
