Kepler 90: The real Kerbol system.

The Kerbol system as we know it is impossible with our laws of physics. The planets have far too much gravity to be as small as they are, and are therefore too dense to be possible. Wolfram Alpha says that Kerbin is roughly 5x denser than lead.

I'm hoping for the Kerbol system, but the masses are proportionate to what they should be in real life, along with it being resized so that Kerbol is large enough to be a star...

Hmm, not quite (it's 4am here, if that might sound as an excuse)... are you referring to a repeated motion syndrome?

No. Check the definition of cubit in wikipedia. All I'm saying is that we are going to have to show the mice our cubits before we are allowed to do anything..it feels like. A community like this one here in Ksp shows that there's a lot of great open minded people interested in space, all we lack is funding.

dude i thought the same thing when i read the news this week about that new kepler system.

the universe is so vast that it's very likely that there's a real kerbol system out there.. with a nearly equal kerbin+kerbals in it.

Why is this always referenced? People say "well the universe is infinite so if you can imagine it it will exist!" but really, no. Not if it defies the laws of physics or makes no logical sense as to how it would happen. Just because "My Little Pony" world exists in peoples' minds doesn't mean it exists somewhere in the universe.

You sure about that? Physicists believe 96% of the matter is dark/unknown... so who knows what's on the other corner of the universe. Dinosaurs, right? Lol

The Kerbol system is not entirely stable under real physics. Ike is huge in comparison to Duna, and would alter its orbit. Also, Vall would be ejected from the jool system. Minmus would most likely be ejected through the L1 portal. The list goes on.
