Hi, I bought last week the game, after trying the demo for a couple of days. This game has really got me. I've spent many days watching videos and reading this forum to have an idea how to make things.

So far, I started a career mode (I think this mode will let me get better used to different parts) and so far I got landings on both kerbin moons, no interplanetary flights yet.

Congratulations on your moon landings. That's probably the game's single biggest landmark. If you can do that, getting to other planets is mostly a matter of scale.

I don't like to put kerbals any farther out than Minmus. It just doesn't seem right. Even my first Minmus mission was a controversy for Kerbin. I'll probably send probes everywhere and have emergency bases/stations before sending a Kerbal interplanetary.

Grats on the moon landings, I just managed that too, (after making several craters). It took a lot of probes (running out of power), and a lot of probes making craters, before I worked up the nerve to launch a Kerbal, then there were deaths…. oh dear.
