Do kerbals add mass to a ship?

Simple question. Is there any mass change between having a Kerbal in a capsule versus having it empty?

In seats, yes (.09375 tonnes as of 0.22). In capsules, no.

In 0.21 MechJeb showed 0.08. KerbDonalds does its job.

Odd, as in 0.21 the map view's info panel showed kerbals to have a mass of 0.05

Well, they do live on a very dense planet. It's got Earth's surface gravity, and 1/10 the size. Make's sense they'd be made of sterner stuff. After all, they can take a pretty good fall on their heads.

Heavier animals have more trouble with falling, actually. But the weight is probably from their suits and EVA packs.

Oh, I know. With each update developers must add all new extra tire types to the pockets, science equipment for EVA report etc, etc. That's why kerbonauts become heavier and heavier with each update.

Kerbals can unbalance some rovers, don't underestimate their weight. Sometimes, I've seen my rovers flip over due to extra kerbals xD
