Can we, please, have the capsule icon removed from the staging list before 0.23?

That's better handled by changing the SAS icon. It currently changes to an orange icon if the SAS is applying torque, but it could have another icon for when the SAS is not doing it but the player is. The staging list should just be about stuff that has to do with staging.

Nope. It's orange when the player is applying input, which in turn changes the SAS mode from 'locking' to 'damping' mode. When no more input is received, it turns to locking mode which actively attempts to hold course. This is just the white light that we normally have. The orange light with the arrows is only when there is input into the PID system.

Even that's not correct. Asymmetrical ships can drive SAS to red icon even with no player input at all.

I believe the pod icon should be removed from staging because it has no staging function. As such, we should not get to see it in VAB/SPH.

I am not against individual parts popping up and showing us something if they have something to show - such as overheating. They should however only appear in the "staged" stage during flight or could have their own separate place to show up, e.g. on the other side of the screen.

I accidentally Eva'd out of my plane once and decided to let it fly with out a pilot once. At 35k it spun out and the SAS icon went crazy. It fell to 5000 and started flying the other way. Sas keeping the opposing corse to when I set it. So I have no idea how SAS innards works now.
