That is awesome to see them getting national attention for their hard work. One thing I hope they do though is that they keep the sandbox mode, while I do like the idea of the career mode stuff I like just building and having fun too.

Reputation isn't bad. Think of it as this: The more acts of defiant badarsery you accomplish, the more funds you can squeeze from the Kerbish politburo. Gotta fight for that budget!

Good to see KSP getting some mainstream press attention. It's one of the most interesting game ideas in recent years IMO, and I think a lot of people would enjoy it if they tried it. Minecraft showed there is a huge audience of people who want to build things.

They have said sandbox mode will always be in the game so no worries there, and even if it somehow wasn't the game could be easily modded to unlock all the parts.
