KSP controls app

What I am suggesting is that SQUAD (or the commnity) makes an app for mobile devices like an iPad where you can open it, sync up with your game and you get a navball, action group buttons, RCS, SAS, gear, brake and light switches and maybe staging all on one touchscreen screen!

I saw som guy make that but he was too greedy to put it up on the AppStore.

Clears some of the clutter off your screen and gives you a bit more of a spacial experience.

I like this idea, gives the player a bit of that, "mission control" feel having a monitor for the navball etc.

I can actually see the use of this, I'll probably only use it once and then go back to normal, but then a few months later do the same thing.

only problem would be connection speed, would it be over your network? or use bluetooth,

I ask this because my mum is an avid Farmvlle player (and we all know how much of a bandwidth hog Fv is) so if i did use the app, I wouldn't really like having my navball lag behind what's happening on screen.

Bluetooth provides a more stable connection though could burn your battery.

WiFi can be a bit difficult for the average person to set up though, but you can transfer much bigger data packets than through Bluetooth, because as far as I know bluetooth is good for streaming music, game info-unknown.

But I get what you mean, some form of app that had your flight info on it, would be pretty sweet Get a few devices up around to make mission control, a freed up screen maybe even like action groups (With descriptions) on it, among other things, but someone would have to do it

I really don't know if this would be likely or unlikely for SQUAD to do, as it could actually lend itself to KSP working in more open areas/schools and maybe for whatever KSPedu will be, it's also a random software/hardware pair up that seems like a bit of a stretch to do at this stage of the game but then, 3D mouse functionality has been added and I didn't see that coming, plus "Smart Glass" type things seem to be popping up everywhere.

Yeah, I think telemachus gives a lot of the "Mission control" feel, but it's all output. I don't think it provides anyway to give input/control. But you could use it to track Altitude & resources.

You can use Telemachus to adjust the throttle, toggle SAS, fire action groups and control some of Smart ASS.
