Jeb is way too busy being awesome and doing all the science to die in my latest save. Seems like just having him in the pilot seat gives a bonus to being able to pull off obscenely risky things. To wit: last mission he got back to Kerbin with barely 2 litres of fuel left in his 400-litre ship.

Spiralling out of control riding a Solid Rocket Booster. I think it's the way he would've wanted to go. Screaming across the ocean on something he couldn't control. Looked into his helmet and he was smiling the whole time. It's really become tradition that I make one save file where I sacrifice the main three on launch day in order to guarantee safe flights.

No matter how spinning out of control your space ship is as its blowing up and breaking apart. The others are all terrified, and Jebs having ablast!!

As do I (minus the kerbocide). I don't know why, I find that the white suited kerbals just have so much more personality and I can attribute much more to them. I might resurrect him to act as a sort of teacher to the new recruits.
