Santa brought me Pneumonia. It was fun. Fun like a kick in the balls.

As far as presents, my wife got me a 32" lcd for the bedroom and a GPS data logger for my RC car so I can try and break the world record of 171mph and log the data (im pushing 72mph at the moment.. long way to go, i need more downforce, the thing flips at top speed)

A T-shirt with the Standard Model of Particle Physics on it all the way from CERN! Also X-COM: Enemy Unknown and many, many packets of TimTams (A sort of chocolate coated biscuit finger from New Zealand, which me and my brother enjoyed when we were on holiday there).

Am I the only one feeling old here? This is full of kids! :D

Anyway, the last present Santa brought me was a set of Thundercats action figures back in... 1991? 92? My present for my self this year was rushing to the insurance company the morning of the 24th to renew said car insurance before taking the road to go to my parents because I forgot it had expired... Way to go, Santa!

Nah, I'll throw in one more for the old guys. In addition to the straight razor I got a couple of bottles of "Ole Smokey Moonshine". The clear 100proof one was a very smooth and nice for sipping. The "Apple Pie" 70 proof one wasn't as good. It kind of had a taste of fermented apples but I drank it anyway. Sadly both bottles are gone and it's a bit to pricey for me. 20 dollars US on sale for a standard size mason jar.

Got a new graphics card (now I actually get ~30 fps while looking at water :)) and an epee, the two things I wanted.

Another fencer. My wife is a medal winner in epee and my daughter is a fencing coach. She trains the young kids in epee and the slightly older ones in foil. I was a sport epee fencer until my knee and elbow gave out. It's a fun sport.
