What do you think about new science model

I think it's a big improvement. I'd like to see the science lab being useful for something other than cleaning experiments, though. There's no reason to ever transmit anything but crew reports, so there's no point in processing things in the science lab, as you'll want to return them physically in any case (getting no bonus from the processing). Or am I misinterpreting how the lab works?

3. How exactly I am inventing new rocket motor from EVA report about Minmus looking like dessert? Are science points supposed to be some sort of funding just to my research division that I get from science community when I do science?

If Curiosity were to find life on mars, NASA's funding would skyrocket.

Any tips for early game science points?

At present, I've observed my goo in the atmosphere, in space near Kerbal and in higher orbit. Likewise I have crew reports for a few biomes, low orbit and higher orbit. I need more science points to unlock the other experiments.

Also, does it seem to anyone else like an EVA should create data? At least the first time. Maybe I'm just not doing it right, but there seems to be no way to get my kerbal to create a crew report from the outside, or any other way to cash in on early evas.

Take goo and science jr to all those biomes you found. Take readings on the ground and in the air. Fly by the mun (Try to get a free return trajectory. They're pretty cool) and bring along a couple Jrs and Goos with you to take readings on the way, when you get there, when you're really close to the surface, and on the way back. Land with all of them and you'll get several hundred. Land on Minmus in various places (Try the poles, hilltops, and those lakes. And the land around the lakes).

Whenever you land, get out and do an EVA report and take a surface sample. Even in the water. Even if you land on the roof of the VAB. It has a surface. Sample it!

EVA does create data. Right click your Kerbal and take a report. If you're on the ground, take a surface sample. Kerbals are some of the best science equipment out there!

I think the science lab should give full return science value in addition to ability to reset experiments, but it should be much more massive, like 16 tons at least.

For comparison, the Apollo command module weighed 5.5 tons while Skylab weighed 77 tons.
