I do understand that last post you talked about other things going on that was making it slow to work on this. I am wondering if you have made any progress lately and if your getting closer to let a few test releases out, or a beta release? I don't mean to rush its just I'm a fan of the MK3 fuselage and would like to make a shuttle as these new parts of yours would fit the bill perfectly.

Are those hinges on the extended Mk3 body? Almost looks like a cargo bay from this angle.

I worded the post wrong, extended is actually referring to the resize of the mk3 cross-section, the cargo bay is visible in that screen.

I'll be finishing up the textures for some of the main parts and most likely release those before the others to get them out sooner. They have been held up by other mods but this is still something I am making.

With TouhouTorpedo leaving the KSP mod scene (see http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/29661-TT-s-Mod-Releases-0-23-5-MK3-Cockpit-IVA-with-RasterPropMonitor%21?p=1149673&viewfull=1#post1149673) and taking all his mods with him, there's room for a new set of Mk3 parts such as a bomb bay, a SAS unit, an inline docking port, and various adapters such as Mk3-to-2.5m. If possible and so desired, it would be really great to see a few of those parts in this mod. :)

I really think think the two mods should be merged as they aim to do nearly exactly the same thing. Since TT is leaving perhaps Nazari might consider reviving development on his mk3 mod pack

Sadly, TT has made it very clear that he will not let anyone take over his mods.

Well, not really. This set of parts will focus on a new fuselage fitted to the current mk3 cockpit, and any parts fitting the smaller size will just be to fill roles that are in demand. The parts will fit 1.25m cargo with some room to spare. Here is the WIP cargo bay:

Here's a ModuleManager patch to fix the node sizes of the Mk3 -> 2m adapter.
