Carbon nano-fiber blades. 8)

The speed at which the tips are moving in the film would cause shock waves down the blades. They must be spinning at what, mach 4? I don\'t think even your precious nano-fiber blades could stand up to that for an extended period of time...

From Wikipedia:

Since carbon nanotubes have a low density for a solid of 1.3 to 1.4 g/cm3, its specific strength of up to 48,000 kN·m·kg?1 is the best of known materials, compared to high-carbon steel\'s 154 kN·m·kg?1.

I think we shouldn\'t just rule out the things that at first glance seem physically impossible. If we\'ve learned anything from this game its that you shouldn\'t judge an idea on its feasibility! =P

Entirely unrealistic design. No possiblity of it flying. That is all.

How about with Damned Aerospace? The encircled heli-blades would work well, they\'re pretty efficient and about a million could float anything, 20 get a plane to 150 m/s on the runway at low power 5 seconds in. So, yeah..

I must say i don\'t usually like mod-needing designs but this looks unbelievable. I\'m going to assume you have a joystick (right?) because i can\'t pilot a fourth as well with my keyboard =P. Still very nice job.

I have a joystick at home but its ancient and takes configuration every time I plug it in, so I don\'t use it for KSP, all plane flying I do is with keyboard.
