Binthurmung
Inspired by the book Red Dwarf, I set out long ago to make a large space advertisement banner. The phrase was "KERBA-KOLAGIVESLIFE" Each letter was double sided so it read the same thing on both sides. I used Mechjeb only to get that first one in to a perfectly circular orbit, and also for the subsequent letters to rendezvous, then would manually dock. Then my hard drive died and this screenshot from a horrible angle was the ONLY thing to survive this entire project, and i think i was up to the E or S in GIVES when it happened http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/3335220155907578453/E3066FF2B426C8BD67685E6F105EA0FD567154C4/Trying to recreate the project i just cant seem to make the signs as perfect as i did this one, and that was my first swing at it too. The lag was pretty gnarly at the end there too. When i finished this i always wanted to put ANOTHER sign up in to an opposite orbit. A little lower at first, then when all the letters were done i wanted to put them in the same orbit and try to crash them together. Would have made a beautiful video to advertise kerbal on youtube too. The second Space Banner was going to say "DRINKTWANG" piloted by non other than jeb himself. Nik_601
This evening I decided to build something different from rockets and space planes, so let me show you a motorized deltaplane:Javascript is disabled. VR_Dev
After a brief grieving period over the loss of the MK2 adapter I have gotten back at designing new .25 crafts for my fighter jet market. I'm trying to develop a distinct new style that will be as recognizable as my older dogfighters.Still nowhere near as functional as my old craft, there is still a ton of work to be done both visually and performance wise, but I'm happy with the direction. RocketPilot573
So I'm designing this hang glider....It terrifies my Kerbals. But is awesome.Unfortunately due to infinite gliding it acts more like a jet-pack that cannot land, ever. Bailing out is the best chance of not going poof, so far no landings have been successful.I may just end up strapping lead weights to the thing (or RTGs), maybe it will land then. Spartwo
So I'm designing this hang glider....Why don't you just disable any flap movement?

Assault Bunny
I'm hoping someone here can help me with some aerodynamic problems I'm having. Some of you (here's hoping I have fans) may remember one of my designs, the Arrow and Longbow craft. With the new spaceplane plus parts, I figured it was finally time for a redesign, and it looks SO much cooler now! Gallery here. Forgot how to make those display on here.Craft file.Sadly, despite the awesome new look, it's flight profile has suffered. It no longer seems to be able to go as high on jets as before, despite a net increase in intake air, and it's not as stable either. Used to be I could yank it up to a 60 degree climb right after take off, but now I need to ease it in or it back flips and spazzes out. So, I'm here looking for some to help me tweak the aerodynamics to make it more stable, and possibly help me with a new ascent profile. The old version, and it's controls and ascent profile, are in the link above. It's associated craft, the Longbow, has already been updated (far more easily) and will be provided, once I have the Arrow working right, in a new thread with more detailed shots. If anyone really wants it before then, just send me a message.

Majorjim!
Nice! I love how you did the fairings, and the fuel lines on the main tank are a nice touch. Can't wait to see what's inside the fairings. Thanks man, inside is a thing of beauty my friend!
drewscriver
The second version of my science SSTO is nearing completion. The center cargo bay holds a rover that can dock to the 3 detachable science packages up front, to haul them to different biomes. Rune
Yesterday I took a look at my DLs to see what you guys would like to see next, and I was truly amazed at the amount of interest in the Eagle. All I can say in response is, the Eagle now has 0.25 wings. And TurboRAPIERs. And an absurd number of hidden intakes.Rune. The standard, non-cheaty 100% rocket version, and the complementary and even more popular "Base Pack", are also getting the same facelift. RocketPilot573
So I combined my hang glider idea with that jet pack and made a Kerbal Flight Mech. This one can actually land because I reduced the wing span to one wing and that combined with the heavy fuel it can't just infinite-glide away anymore. However it can still glide and steer even without the engine on. I may put this on up for download.
