well i lowered the part counts on my Falcon Heavy(at least 45mT to orbit and landing at KSC) and Falcon 9 (13.5 mT Dragon 2 Replica to orbit and landing at KSC) just left with 2 things to do- writing the kOS code for landings of the falcon heavy (and falcon 9 on the way) for the remake of the simulation video and finishing the launcher and DTF of the dunan colony (that might appear as a teaser on the end of the falcon heavy launch) and launching it

It works! Completely stock walker! :)

Here you can see how it walks:

And here's an album:

That really works? Both directions? How do you get a consistent direction of motion, by cleverly raising/lowering legs? Isn't that a huge headache to work out in your head?

Rune. Because if it does work, I want one. NOW. :)

Yes, this works) Both directions) And it walks with help of raising-lowering legs, you're right :)

Of course! You can download it >here<.

And here's some instructions and hotkeys:

To make the first step press "1" to move legs and then press "3" to up legs (it helps to move them far) and press "3" again to put them on the ground.

To make the second step press "2" to move legs and then press "4" to up legs and press "4" again to put them on the ground.

So, when you'll operate this walker, you should press keys in that way:

1) 1-3-3

2) 2-4-4

3) 1-3-3

4) 2-4-4

5) etc.

I hope you will understand though something from my explanation:D

The Tadpole. Because it looks a bit like one... Because why not? First test flight, made orbit, circularised at 128km, still has 1,600 dV. One crew member... Suppose you could get it to Duna and then do nothing but crash it there.

well i did this(just the coding today)-

the rocket is a booster Falcon 9 Core for a falcon heavy. it will be out when i will finish the coding for the automatic landings with kOS. will come in a stock version too- the rockets are done including a dragon V2 replica (which will get it's own code for landing).

Question:

You've probably heard of my Vostok replica:

Javascript is disabled. View full album

Now, I was going to release it after 1.0, which would involve rebalancing it, adding fairings, and releasing it. Currently, it is totally ready for a .90 release, BUT if I wait for 1.0 I will have to figure out how to add a heatshield to it, which may just look like a kludge.

So should I wait for 1.0 release to release it, release it ASAP, or release it now, and rerelease it (with heatshield and rebalance) when 1.0 drops?

Thanks in advance, and please respond.

What's that? And what parts are what I presume is the fuel tank made of?

A suuupperrr early version of the Altair Lunar Lander from the Constellation Program. Also, a true master never reveals his secrets... except for craft releases. And here. And I'm not a master builder. Oh, well! All I'll say so far is that it's a fuel tank.
