Landing legs only go down one at a time. Help as I'd like all 3 to extended at once.

Recommended Posts

I don't know what happened between my last .22 build vs. this .23 one with more mods. When I'm falling back to Kerbin and on the parachute, I have 3 lander legs for my tall rocket. When I right click a lander leg, only one extends at a time instead of all 3 like before. How can I fix this?

Thanks for the help! :)

That means the symmetry got lost between game version. Replace them with new symmetry placed legs in VAB. Although it might be a new feature.

Curious - why do You use right click menu to extend the legs instead of using a button?

If you right-click legs you can extend/retract them individually (useful if you're landing on a steep slope or trying to right a flipped over craft)

But yeah, press the G key or the green button at the top menu to toggle all the legs at the same time.

Wow, I had no idea about the gear button. I thought that was just for wheels on airplanes. Learn something new everyday. Thanks all!

BTW - I did have them all placed via symmetry so I was basically doing it the hard way.
