Well, I did not use the cheat console - maybe the OP should clarify if what I have done there is clipping.

Maybe OP should clarify rules in general. I also don't think there's anything wrong on your plane but it sure does have parts clipped through each other. Out of my experience, a lot of clipping can be done even without the debug menu. On the other hand, I'd not enjoy rules like 'clipping allowed unless I think it's too much'. Rules are good if they're objective.

I designed this in a few minutes while waiting on something in another game....

I didn't put an escape system on it because of the cockpit choice I wanted to be different. But the crew can bail the old fashioned way... climb out the hatch and jump.

I call it the XF-144 Kardvark. A limited SSTO hop strike craft for a crew of 3.

In the pictures you will see two missiles, the small little things under the wings, and two BIG missiles the solid stage rockets on the sides of the fuselage. The armament can be changed as needed, and has no problem packing two more big missiles under the wings, but loses its SSTO abilities. Handles well at speeds below mach 2.0, gets a bit light in the nose at mach 3.0.

And because the last one was not quite good enough for me.

I present the new evolution in single seat multi-role fighters, the XF-145 Tomkat.

Javascript is disabled. View full album

Has 2 fuselage mounted pylons which can hold a total of 6 ordnance, 2 more pylons can be mounted under the wings if needed but only provide an additional two hardpoints.

It is capable of mach 4.01 below 20km altitude but is an SSTO with a max orbital altitude of 80km x 80km.

Take off speed- 120m/s (loaded) 100m/s (slick)

Landing speed- 90m/s (loaded), 80m/s (slick)

It probably can land at a lower speed but I am not the pilot to do that.

craft file-

This craft is FAR and DRE-C compatible.

I think that no-clipping can be allowed.

To prevent people from clipping many air intakes into one, just have them declare their air intake-to-engine ratio, and prove said ratio with a screenshot showing all the intakes(It can be a screenshot in the SPH with parts taken out to reveal the intakes inside).

Hodo, how many points does your ship have?

Hodo, how many points does your ship have?

It is 125parts with missiles, if I drop the missiles and racks it drops down to around 70 parts.

There is no clipping of parts in that craft, no intake spam, it has a 3:1 intake to jet ratio, which is standard on most of my SSTOs.

Got a few more pictures, and added for a test another pair of racks on the fighter. Bringing its total hardpoints up to 12! And I don't think I mentioned this before, but it even has a nose mounted sensor array for recon missions or science missions. The XF-145 is the real deal in the next and last line of single seat multi-role fighters.

Hi there,

Today, I present the newest plane that I have been working on, it's taken a total of 4-6 hours to finalise and is therefore my baby.

The BarraK

So the specs:

(Fully Loaded) : (War Load-out) : (Payload) : (Unloaded) :

Part Count: 90 : 74 : 66 : 40 :

Weight(Tons): 11.03 : 9.53 : 9.83 : 8.33 :

Armoury:4 missiles 2 bombs: <------------ : none : none :

Payload: 2 0.75t satalites: none : 2 satalites : none :

It meets all requirements and is almost maxing the extras:

Payload bay of more that 1t (40pts (I think))

SSTO (30pts)

VTOL (20pts)

3 kerbals (10pts)

4 misiles 10 or 20pts???

2-4 bombs 15 or 45pts???

OFC no part clipping

Ok look at this, It is a new version of my Anaconda jet. It carries a crew of two with weaponry in the form of six missiles four bombs two drop tanks, and comes equipped with an excellent escape system. It can easily get to 200m/s below 2 km, but not with a full load out. It also has good manoeuvrability and can easily climb over 20km high, reaching very high speeds. I also have a top secret load out for it planned but it still needs some further refining.

And this is the Panther, very similar to the anaconda but carries more fuel and has a somewhat less manoeuvrable wing layout.

I have many designs with the Cockpit and engines in a similar manner as the Anaconda and the Panther, (also the Viper I entered into the Machingbird challenge) and I am really fond of the high cockpit low engine look, it looks really badass like real life jets and is actually pretty functional.
