How do I make custom solar systems?

So, I have seen other solar systems like Alternis that mixes all the planets up and changes other things like lighting and the size of the Sun. What I am wondering is, how do I make my own Solar System and possibly add/remove planets?

WITHOUT Krags Planet Factory. And something that other people can download. I don't really like Krag's planet factory since it's somewhat hard to download without glitching, and I have no idea how to use it, and I can't find out how to anywhere.

Then you're talking about making a plugin that alters the order of the planets. Without Planet factory you can't make new planets, it doesn't work like that. I don't know how Alternis Kerbal does it (Since I don't use that mod) but I'm sure you could pop it open and take a look at the code to figure it out.

Well then how am I supposed to use Krag's Planet factory? I've tried it, and after a while it worked, but then I later deleted it for some reason, and now I usually just get the Sentar Expansion only with the big DEFAUL texture instead of it's actual texture, and whenever I try to edit it, nothing changes...

Actually, I'm not sure if it ever worked, that's why I am trying to avoid Krag's planet factory.

It is based off of Planet Factory, however. Besides that, the only other option is to make your own planet creator plugin. We are a bit short on planet modification tools currently.
