IVA camera sensitivity?

Recommended Posts

The last time I played KSP was with a different mouse, and now the IVA camera moves very slowly (I have to move my mouse further to go a shorter distance compared to before). Which setting changes this? I'd rather not change my overall mouse sensitivity because I've gotten used to how it is in other games.

Thanks,

Ping

The same things that cause lag on external view cause lag on IVA view. When you're looking at Kerbin's horizon, for example, you'll notice a big performance decrease, and if you're looking at a wall of your spaceship with Kerbin's horizon behind it, you'll notice the same thing. So before you go changing settings, test to see if this is still an issue in space away from the planet.

That's it, thanks. Did a munar orbit scenario and it was fine.

So how would one go about changing it if the framerate isn't an issue? My IVA camera consistantly moves at an infuriatingly slow speed comared to the external camera (including via the keyboard). I notice there is a VAB_CAMERA_ORBIT_SENS and FLT_CAMERA_ORBIT_SENS in the settings, but there doesn't seem to be one for IVA.

I get the feeling it might be related to a linux problem, as I've seen windows users play with the IVA and their speeds seem fine.
