EDIT: For the rings, is it possible with VE to put a flat ring texture over the rings so you don't notice the edges at the top?

Hah, beat me to it! I was going to say they looked fantastic... just not realistic. Real rings tend towards planar fields, having 'dimensions' in the radial dimension, not in the normal direction. Of course in RL the dimensions are sort of illusions due to multiple ring elements radially beside each other *shrugs* so making it 'realistic' is not quite what I meant I guess :)

I've used the Clouds and city lights pack a lot, various incarnations there-of, and this looks to be making even more impressive! Kudos! :)

Hmm.. the download does work, but when I go to unrar it I get an error. File damage.

Edit: Scratch that.. it works. Sorry. I usually just hit open instead of saving the file. I saved to desktop and then opened it. Worked. Thanks Proot I appreciate it. Hope your making out well on Renaissance Compilation. Cant wait.

During this days:

Jool rings redone and improved, several changes in his clouds. Vall completly revamped again to fit better with stock when you change from orbit to surface.

Laythe and Duna improved. Several changes in all planets and moons to enhance textures and its details.

Textures completly optimized to maximize save memory.

New male and female heads based on real and sci-fiction astronauts and cosmonauts (for example female heads based on Valentina Tereshkova -first woman on space- or bald Ripley!)

Completed settings for DAO and VE.

New improved textures for hot and cool rockets (including the new smoke effects).

Chatterer sounds completed.

ALCOR external version texture delayed, new ALCOR versions include emissions, so my texture must be redone.

Release in one or two days, maybe before. (probably without alcor texture for the first release).

Give shaw some love too , he is the one who made this possible in the first place..

Completely agree. Rbray, Shaw and many others are the real stars here. Please give reputation and be grateful with the modders who make this possible. All this would be useless without their work.

Oops sorry. I just got a bit too exited when I saw that. I didn't even know TR added reflective glass? I'll give some rep and a comment to shaw and rbray. Again I just got exited and commented fast. :D

These pictures look really good, I especially like the city lights. I usually delete the city lights from the clouds mod because they are so low-res. I'm not sure if I like the rings though. Eve's look decent but I would definitely remove Jool's.

going crazy with anticipation...every time I look at the kerbin pic from the first post. I cleaned up my gamedata folder to keep enough space for this mod. its not everyday that a modder with good artistic sense makes a compilation of visual mods.

mr proot please throw us some more pics.
