Spectre SSTO

At O-Dock Laboratories countless spacecraft have been prototyped. Most are good. Many are great. But few, are legendary. The Spectre is one such plane.

On this historic day, Jebadiah Kerman completes the standard fuel tank configuration trial. He goes on to achieve orbit with 6km/s dV in main engine stores. This photograph was taken by Bill Kerman in an escort Condor.

How the heck? 6km/s, this one is amazing!

It's all about the engine setup and the ascent corridor.

My Condor(not released yet) has 7.3km/s dV @ LKO. But, this craft has a special feeling when you fly it. Everything is balanced and no one attribute dominates; speed, maneuverability, range and looks. It needs to be flown to understand what I mean.
