Are there "Full Muns" or "Half-Muns" from Kerbin?

So, I've been trying to recall, but I don't think that there are any full moon or half moon type of scenarios in KSP. If I recall correctly, the mun isn't illuminated from a distance properly. I'm a modder and I am definitely interested in fixing this if this is the case. Can anyone post some pictures of the Mun from Kerbin if you have some?

It's the only pic I have at the moment, I will take more though. (Mun is in the Upper LEFT corner)

Here's one of the Mun, apparently is does go through phases.

I don't have any pictures, but when you use a custom skybox which eliminates the bright dust around the centre of the celestial sphere, you can see Mun phases from orbit. The whole thing lights up though when you view it in-atmosphere, which I heard is a bug with Unity's lighting system.

Also note that there is a certain amount of ambient light in the game. This means you can still see the dark side of the mun, making the phases look a lot less distinct. I believe NovaSilisko fixed it in his Alternis mod, but he never got around to releasing that ambient light fix separately.

It's TextureReplacer (the original mod which did this was UniverseReplacer, but TextureReplacer runs better and has a lot more features). It even lets you have kerbals walk around on Kerbin without spacesuits!

Unfortunately, I cannot find the link to the custom skybox right now, so you will have to do a bit of digging to find it. I could upload I'm using if you'd like though.

I've got Texture Replacer, I just never came across that. I like my own custom skybox, very minimal stars, so I think I'll stick to that. Thanks for the info!
