Mod updates are notified?

Hello, sorry if this has been already answered, but how do we know a mod (say KAS or ScanSat) has been updated? Do we have to check them one by one?

Yep, since there's no sort of in-game mod manager, that's all up to you.

Some mods like Toolbar has its own notification in game.. Its pretty easy to install...though seeing the response from some in the toolbar thread about how annoying it is might be turning some off.

Subscribe to the release threads for each mod you care about. Set the subscription to give you instant notification by email. Of course, this will show everybody's posts in the thread, not just the author's, and it won't show you all posts, so you might miss the actual update post. However, the posts just after the update will be talking about it so you'll know.
