Shouldn't you use aircraft landing gear instead? Those tiny rover wheels are too fragile for your torture vehicle.

I had no idea there was a strange craft thread. I'll definitely be visiting that sometime.

Although, for that thread they want you to post a craft file as it is in the exchange section. What If I want to show my insane torture devices clearly safe inventions but not be uploading a craft file every night? Many of my designs only function perhaps one out of ten tries so I would never upload the file due to people complaining that it doesn't work/I lied about it. (Yes, that happened) I only upload the ones that are pretty stable and not lag-monsters.

I get where you are coming from, but this thread is more focused than the general WDYDT, doesn't entail just failures and is more about the idea of doing strange stuff than proving it with craft files.

I was actually trying to make the craft MORE unstable... the Kerbals kept surviving.

This thread seems oriented more on the "general shenanigans" and "for the lulz" direction, it may be its own thing.

'what have you done today,' = Bragging rights.

'strange craft,' = I did this strange thing and you may want to try it.

'not going to space today,' = Plain old fails.

Got jumbo 64 fuel tank, attatched large rover wheels to it, added a mainsail, and went for the land speed record on the runway(132 m/sec was achieved by most of the craft ).

After the wheels broke for the 5th time sending my luckless kerbal to his doom, it was add wings and the landing gear wheels to it and see how fast I could get it to go (most of it achieved 201 m/sec just after the first impact off the end of the runway )

Put some wings and rotate them until they give you some downforce. I once managed to get what was essentially an SRB with wheels from side to side of the runway by slapping some wings to its sides
