Kerbal Bio's

Easy to implement change that would increase roleplaying a lot - give each Kerbal a text bio field the same length as the text field for VAB\SPH descriptions. Using this, we could write down what accomplishments, achievements and so on each Kerbal has. Easy to do and yet us roleplayers would make a mountain out of it - endless opportunities here. Also, if the coding allowed mods to write\read the bio's it would create an easy way to make RPG mods.

I think what he means is we input the text like we do on flags. This is a good idea, and I would like to see it happen.

I`d like to know which of them holds the record for longest time in space overall and for a single mission. Who was first in space and on each body. First to enter SOI, first to orbit, first to land. Who as spent most time on the surface of each body and who has been on most bodies. Per Kerbal and as a scoreboard.

I want to know all of it and in a handy interface too.

I believe the number is closer to 10,000 possible names, sir.

Thats exactly what I meant, sir. I think it shouldn't be too hard from a UI standpoint, and what it could add for gameplay is tremendous. And like the best parts of KSP it leaves the possibilities open to the players to explore themselves, Squad would just be handing us a tool.

Myself I`d like some automated system to keep track of the achievements of each kerbal like the ones I described although having a manual text box for each kerbal would be cool as well.

I would love mission achievements like Final frontier in the stock game. Even something simple like number of missions completed, bodies walked on.
