Surprisingly, Malevolence was only lightly damaged, and the fuel feed to all 4 engines was still intact. Im honestly quite amazed you didnt manage to sever any of them :D

I tried to land Phineas on Eeloo, but it only had one engine and was unable to make it down safely, so I aborted and went into a low orbit.

Malevolence paid the price. She landed at 9m/s, but was not strong enough to survive the crash. She broke up into two peices. However, the front section remained intact, and a missile was launched, hitting the Lead Corvette in the rear.

But she was in range!

Not much damage was done but the fuel tanks were all knocked out, meaning she was stuck there for good.

Her pilot has been cordially invited to have tea at Malevolence, should he feel up for the 1.5km walk.

Ok, I'll have my next move posted sometime tomorrow. (I'll also have my stranded pilot get some much-needed exercise by running to meet up with the crew of the Malevolence, to discuss this conflict over some tea and a hot meal.

Hehe, there is no crew in Manevolence but it does have tea making reactors and such. We can send a shuttle to pick him up tho.

Oh ok. I'll just have one of my MT-11 dropships pick him up then. I love the VTOL on those things...

Just added Firefall to my Faithful MKIII (now updated) Corvette. Making a total of 3 ships that now carry this devastating weapon system.

Im about to have to redue a good majority of pictures on my first post

I bet its what i wanted to do but got too lazy to do: A probe with some rcs and a claw. It goes up to the enemy ship, claws on it then uses sepatrons to burn up the armor

I actually already tried this, but the physics in zero g make it really fiddlesome keeping the claw in place. (since you can't use the claw part to actually attach)

@Rasheed, i did your ship first... and that was too easy :D one HV minimissile struck just behind the cockpit, severing command from the rest of the ship. Scratch one.

Haha, that won't be the case. and I'm doing 3 right now.

I went after Ant just because she was the only one that looked like she could hurt my Dreks, plus she had a lot of fuel (which meant she might outrange me) so I took it out...

at first i thought i'd missed, but in fact both nuclear engines were knocked off. Good enough for me.

Two reasons might be doing that, MysticPing:

1) the missile is hitting something on release. If it is in a barrel, it might rub against it and send it off course. It's happened a lot to me, and you have to either increase the barrel width or launch the missile outside.

2) the missile might be unguided. I guide all my missiles, just because then I can aim as I choose. Guiding missiles adds weight, but also means you can hit from longer distance.

I guess i should use more guided missiles.

I currently have 1 utility ship (Fuel, a smaller ship with claws to recover stuff)

1 Fighter

1 Destroyer (destroyer in my terms, probably not in this threads terms)

I moved the dreadnaught to intercept one of your ships,I didn't see which one.

Due to the lack of RCS the ship was impossible to control and i missed the shot

At least it has a probe on it.

I didn't get a screenshot of moving a fighter for an intercept with a Drek.
