I am greatly experience with in craft that are well tested!!!!

Bit of a pain redeveloping designs again though!

This is the easy part. You can copy the .craft files from your old save's directory into a new save's directory, and they should show up as saved designs in the new save. It's only the active ships (ones that are currently flying) that have to be spliced in the persistence/quicksave files.

What I have gathered: 0.23.5 NASA pack will not BREAK existing saves. However, asteroids will not spawn in existing saves. In order to have asteroids spawn, you need to start a new save. Current missions will be unaffected, both for the positive (nothing lost) but also for the negative (nothing gained).

Well, it looks like we get to find out NOW. As long as this isn't an April Fool's joke, we should be downloading the update any moment.

Which means, I get to play with giant floating SPACE ROCKS

I will test when I get home tonight (I have a scheduled volunteer thing after work, so it will be late before I do), but the rumor is that asteroids WILL SPAWN even in existing save games.

HURRAH! :)

*fingers crossed*

First asteroid captured! :)

B-class, now in orbit around Kerbin just inside the Mun orbit. I have PLENTY of fuel left in my mover-craft to push this wherever I want. Currently, I decided to stop where I am, just inside the Mun's orbit, although it is nearly a polar orbit. This was an unmanned vessel in order to capture and divert the asteroid.

And good news! Was within my current, existing save game. :) :)

Finally finished writing-up my step-by-step guide from rov(er)ing around KSC to manned moon-landings and interplanetary probes/mapping. Almost finished writing the rest (probably another 3-4 days work). Now so many things have changed I'm starting again - although it should only be to check the ships still work as intended. Changes to LV-1® engines, etc. could indicate some re-designs as they're probably worth using on some craft where I've been using 48-7Ss. Better joints should mean fewer struts and that, possibly, means no separatrons.

So that's me tied-up for a while. What chance I finally publish before 0.24? Lol.
