Sorry, but this would be a violation of physics. :D Liquids already fill a volume as efficiently as they can, so applying pressure merely, well, applies pressure without reducing the volume significantly.

We should make a rule against suggestions that defy the laws of phsyics :P

But yes, liquids are, as a general rule, incompressible, short of freezing them solid, but even then you'll not get much extra room in the tank... and your liquid fuel engines won't work anymore. :D
