Sokar408
... will 0.24 be out in close succession with 0.23.5 as was previously mentioned? I haven't heard anything on this front, but to be sure I'll ask anyway. Having been away from my YouTube channel for over a year, and I want KSP to be the game I start up on again. With people constantly messaging me about returning, and me not wanting to go on a "accidental" break again, I wouldn't want to start my KSP series if 0.24 comes out in a week or two, delaying an already new series due to mod incompatibility
Spartwo
Why do you need mods?
Thiel
Why do you need mods?Because they provide something the base game doesn't provide.
Streetwind
In before the obligatory "Squad doesn't give out release dates" But yeah. We know as much as you do.
Guest
In before the obligatory "Squad doesn't give out release dates" Squad doesn't give out release dates and we don't have one for 0.24. OP, there's always going to be a new update coming out, just do your thing, other YouTubers get along just fine.
r4pt0r
im wondering the same as op. why start a new career save if .24 comes out in 3 or 4 weeks? i dont want a date, just an "it wont be before the end of may for sure" so i know its worth it to invest time. Spartwo
Because they provide something the base game doesn't provide.Fair enough.I would tell you to go ahead. The popular mods (if they don't work, which is rare) get updated within a matter of hours and the smaller ones are updated quickly enough too.But I don't see anything in .24 which may mess with mods except maybe contracts which would add a price to parts, which could make any part mods incompatible. cantab
There's no reason you can't keep your .23.5 install around. Even if you bought on Steam, just copy the game folder before updating.
Vanamonde
As has been pointed out, Squad doesn't announce release times. Besides, as we've recently seen, complications can force deviations from planned timelines anyway, so there probably isn't a date to announce. And so, having reported that there's nothing to report, this thread has served its purpose.
