Which Version of KSP does Manley use,

So I noticed that in Scott Manley's interstellar series even on the new videos, he is able to spam science on small probes which I believe is no longer possible without a crewed ship with a MSL on goo tanks or science jnrs, so I must conclude that he's either using an outdated version (I only started playing after the release of 0.23) or he's using a mod which allows the transmission and then repeated reuse of these apparatus. Can anyone advise?

he's using 0.22. He has so many mods that he can't update (I think)

His modded version has so many different (new) experiments ... I also think he brings more goo tanks than just one?

He did update to .23 for his interstellar quest (What you see as science spam is actually him using more than one experiment) I do not believe he has updated to .23.5 yet.

He started his interstellar series with .22 then later updated to .23 It may take him a while to update to .23.5 though.

I think he is running multiple installations of KSP and once all his mods are working and his save is running stable, he will swap over to 23.5
