Mechjeb Rover Autopilot

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Probably a stupid question, but I've sent a rover to the Mun (manned) and it has mechjeb, everytime I set up waypoints and press "follow" it goes in the opposite direction and speeds up as much as it can!

What I want to do is set a waypoint for the rover to go to at a speed of about 5m/s so it won't catch air or anything.

Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, the place to get help with a mod is in that mod's http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/12384-PART-0-23-5-Anatid-Robotics-MuMech-MechJeb-Autopilot-v2-2 thread. Make sure you use 'control from here' on a pod/core that is facing the horizon in the forward direction. NB: MOST point up, which is no use whatsoever as MJ has no other way to know which way it's going.

Simplest is to use an small docking port pointing forward,it might also be posible to use the mechjeb module itself.
