I've captured an Asteroid. What do I do with it?

Make sure it doesn't hit the homeworld?

Put it in orbit and send Jeb up to take a sample and make asteroid sand castles?

Seriously.

Build a massive space station on top of it. Do some science. Connect several of them together. Go land it on Minmus, or the Mun, or Kerbin.

Just realize there's still quite a few bugs with the claw (and multiple claws) as well as asteroids themselves. So keep a copy of your save game somewhere safe in the meantime.

There's nothing stopping people clawing onto an asteroid and pretending to get Kethane from it.

You can do plenty of cool stuff with it! Build a station around it.. crash it... make a monument on it!

The possibilities are endless!

Glancing blow on Mun or minmus, for science.

For mad science take it to Moho and drop it down into the Mohole, then build an base on top of it.

And yes this mission is so crazy you might want to hire Whackjob to design the tug.

Find out what happens if you drop an asteroid into jool...

The user (billy???) that said they havn't yet been able to intercept an asteroid... no one has done a proper tutorial yet... if no one does in the next few days or so then i may consider doing one.
