Expand Thanks for your answer, The only mods I use are the KSPRC ones and also Engineer Redux. Actually I noticed that this bug is more specific than I thought: it only occurs when I perform an EVA in space high over the Sun. EVAs work normally in space around Kerbin, as well as landed at Kerbin and Minmus ( I haven't tried other locations). Would it help if I upload the output_log.txt file? Keep up the good work! I have two questions though, keep in mind my pc is slow and about eight years old, so one of the questions I'm asking may be answered in the mod itself. Unfortunately, I can't answer it considering my rig's processing power. 1.) Do you think you'll ever try experimenting with volumetric auroras, instead of just a pretty, flat texture that spins around the poles, having the Aurora Borealis and Australis actually have a depth to them as they do here below? 2.) Do you recommend just plugging in the 1.1.3 version of Kopernicus into KSPRC or waiting until you update KSPRC itself. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to modding so I don't know if there's a difference between the Kopernicus in the KSPRC .zip file and the main Kopernicus mod itself. This mod is absolutely epic, so I am not complaining, knowing that this is still prerelease etc. Anyway I landed a probe on Eve and as I landed I started running into a series of visual weirdness. First of all the transition between the "orbital scene" and "ground scene" was really really rough. It was almost as if the whole planet suddenly changed color from one shade of purple to a totally different shade of purple. The cloud layer only appeared on very low altitudes (around 2500 meters or so). When I got through the bottom cloud layer, then the land below me was constantly flickering between ocean and land (eventually solved this with alt+enter). The latter is probably a scatterer issue. When landed it seems that the bottom cloud layer is only rendered immediately on top of the landed craft. Maybe I can somehow configure the render distance? Currently it sort of gives a cartoonish impression like there is a rain cloud constantly following my craft =). However, my question at the moment is what defines a landClass? Take, for instance, BaseBeach, what does it mean? Is it mapped to the beaches biome or what? I've tested it on Moho and Eeloo and once I get close enough to the surface that the ground textures start to render over the map view texture, the ground is extremely dark - not quite black, but something you would expect at dusk even at midday. I've tried reinstalling, I'm just curious if anyone else has had the same problem? I'm running 1.1.2 and all I've done on that copy of KSP is install RSPRC. Thanks Expand I had the same issue but with another mod. it's probably related to Kopernicus, but I' don't know if @Thomas P.is aware of this issue and until now I'm not able to find a reliable way to reproduce the issue. sentania Posted July 21, 2016 Share Posted July 21, 2016 I don't know where it is, i just dropped KSPRC in, so I don't have a handle on it's function yet, however you likely have one or more errors in your CFG files, as it causes errors with sigma binary.
