Automatically fill MPL's

Mobile Processing Lab.

The game only tends to fill one control part automatically -- typically this will be the root part. Not actually sure what happens if the root part is a non-controllable, non-crewable part... Hmm.

The failure to crew the entire ship is very annoying. Even if you go to the crew tab and choose a crew, but revert the flight to assembly, you have to reassign because there will be no crew.

yeah better still, just make the vab remember your crew selection when you revert to vab, or if you click the actiongroups or parts tab. if you assign crew, then click the parts tab it forgets your crew :(

WHY DOES JEB WANT TO DO EACH MISSION ALONE?!?!?

WHY DOES JEB WANT TO DO EACH MISSION ALONE?!?!?

Because the only others crazy enough to go with him are Bill and Bob, and they're both on away missions.

Also yes, auto fill would be a nice idea. Even better if the system can look at the available astronauts and bias assignments so that kerbonauts with high bravery values go into the command pods, and low stupidity values go in the labs.

The suggested remembering of crew is one of those things that should be changed. I personally never see any use of having kerbals in the lab by default. I always keep it unmanned as a station. Otherwise their are always kerbals coming from a capsule that will man the lab by themselves.

Just check your ship before you launch on long missions. This is a very basic step and isn't that difficult.

If there is at least one pod in the ship, the game picks one and fills it. Even if it's not the root part.
