I have 3:

The MK1 Cockpit. Great one for flying IVA planes.

The MK2 Cockpit. With a mod, a beautiful IVA cockpit, but even without the mod, it's a great way to make inline jet fighters.

The Cupola. A beautiful IVA pod with everything you need.

My favourite is the cupola... But my most used? The mk. 1 lander can, during my "science train" missions to the Mun and Minmus: launching about 6 craft at each moon, to take the space-virginity of Kerbonauts who haven't been on a mission yet, and getting reports from the biomes I haven't been to yet. Got to fill out those archives!

I like the Mk1 pod (Mercury style!). Makes small, efficient things look aerodynamic. For IVA the cupola is king, but I don't use IVA except for a bit of sight seeing.

If I could have one added to the game, it would be a cylindrical 1.25m pod with hatch and ladder suitable for tail-sitting VTOLs. Like a Mk1 lander can but with a round shape to match other parts and not interfere with radially mounted stuff.

The Mk-1 Lander Can, Use it for most of my landers, use it in a few advanced vehicles and rovers, used it in my very first space station ( it was literally just the pod, a docking port, and 2 large solar arrays, in a very lopsided orbit. Never docked or added to it, as this was really early in my Kerbal Experience)

I also enjoy how its a lot easier to place things on the side of it, and it still looks good. Sure you can put landing legs on a MK 1 command pod, but they are either slanted at an odd angle, or straight up and sort of floating off the pod.

What annoyed me earlier about the Mk-1 lander can: You can attach stuff radially to it, but you can't attach it radially to stuff. So tank-can-tank radially is OK with the Kerbals, but can-tank-can isn't. -_-

I use the mk1 capsule the most for practical reasons, it's by far the most functional pod if all you want is to get a kerbil somewhere.

For aesthetics I like the big windows of the lander can and the culpola.

VA ascent with the cupola placed looking down.

I imagine landing is something like
