  1. I think it's a fair assumption that any update that add new content to career mode will break career saves.
  2. This is easily answered. These are the recommended specs from the store website: 2.0Ghz Dual Core CPU or higher (preferably higher) 4GB RAM 512MB Video Card, Shader Model 3.0 1GB Free HD space Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8 or An Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X 10.6 or higher or A Debian based Linux distro Anyone whose computer meets them should be allowed the minimum expectation of decent performance when running stock at default settings.
  3. I don't think a lot of people would like having to download a mod just for a challenge. Then again I don't do a lot of challenges so what do I know?
  4. They're not important in game, but those labels are often a reference to something.
  5. The Kerbol system needs to be expanded to justify the new arm parts, at the moment they are superfluous. And now that we have asteroids I think its time for a planet with rings.
  6. I have. It reminds me a lot of this It would be a good project to upload better images. But that time would really be spent better on other things. A lot of the parts pages need correcting for updates for example. Function before form and all that. You can simply frame the shot away from your epik base. If you really want to be discreet you can use an external camera mod and set up the camera pointed away from your vessel. This hase the added benift of giving more control over camera position then you'd get with stock. The planet pages are for information about the planets, not player achievements. If you want to show off your work the wiki user pages and the forum's mission report section and blog system are at your disposal.
  7. I have to disagree. Eva allows you to take experiments out of parts and store them in the command capsule as well as fix landing gear or wheels and deploy panels on probes that run out of power. They've never actually been clear if alien meant "any extraterrestrial life" or "little green men", well other little green men. I cant thing of a reason not to add it given that it would only take a line in the science report fluff as for alien architecture, it's already implemented.
  8. I use the mk1 capsule the most for practical reasons, it's by far the most functional pod if all you want is to get a kerbil somewhere. For aesthetics I like the big windows of the lander can and the culpola. I imagine landing is something like
  9. Going of on a tangent a bit: It'd be nice to have something like this that calculates encounters. Since tylo's (or any bodies) position at a given time is constant in any save you can calculate what it's position will be solely off the global time+time to encounter the parent body. Then it's just a matter of tweaking your entry so it's on the other side.
  10. Alternatively, get into a slightly higher(or lower) orbit, set the station as a target and use manure nodes to find the right time to perform a hohmann transfer. Try to get an encounter within 5km, then switch navball to target mode and try to kill your velocity relative to the target. Docking is a bit more... complicated.
  11. If Kerbin is a dwarf planet does that mean Kerbals are dwarfs? If so how long until squad releases Kerbal Fortress?
  12. build rockets, see them explode before you, and hear the lamentation of your pilots
  13. sent You will need version 6.5 or later Go to options>connection> check "allow direct connections for your contacts only." This will prevent anyone from finding your ip unless you chose to share your contact information with them.
  14. From what I hear squad has stated they are updating bodies in the order they are visited, so naturally Kerbin and it's moons would be first. Duna and Ike will probobly be next.
  15. 2011 January 17: v0.0 1 April 2014: v0.23.5 so.. 2026sh?
  16. Guys, guys! What if we put the capsule on the bottom of the rocket?
