Questions? Questions, anyone?

So I've noticed a whole bunch of new people out there come into this game with loads of fun questions for us to answer. So.... put them here! And all of you veteran players, feel free to answer them. I'm making this thread so that it may form a bridge between "new" and "old" players, and keep all the questions in one convenient place.

How the shoot did I do an Apollo-style mission to the Mun (with the docking) afterwatching Scott Manley for half a year and not playing the game at all?

And why can I go anywhere with ease? Why is it so easy for me to land? Where did I learn all this stuff?

Why did I lose interest at this game? :(

I'm guessing an influx of evil ghosts has assaulted your computer and warped your mind. I would recommend seeking professional services..

Hello! I'm a very new Kerbonaut, I've heard of this game 6 days ago, then I've downloaded the Demo, played it, and I really love the full-version (I've bought yesterday on steam).

But I've one problem: How to build colonies on other planets/moons??? And can you land on the gas-giant?

Greetings from germany, VoidSeeker

Welcome to the forum and KSP

Start small, do one step at a time, play with Career to learn the basics of what your limited sets of parts can do. Do suborbital flights, learn how to perform an efficient gravity turn to get a larger rocket into stable orbit and return. Next, do a Mun, then Minmus flyby. Then orbit, land and return from there, do Minmus first. Finally, go interplanetary and return. Then, when you feel ready to tackle colonization, you can download the mods for inflatable habitats, Ketane mining, etc..., and start building the bases from multiple launches. But, do practice landing multiple missions as closely as possible on your target planet or moon before tackling the task of building bases.

Like Jupiter, it is impossible to land on Jool. It has no surface. Some have done it but the usual results is that your ship, probe, gets crushed about 250 meters below the surface.

To be blunt, it would be a failure of imagination. I have over 1k hours playtime, and there is still a long list of stuff I'm working on. Take a break if you need to let your creative side recharge. There are so many things to do and so many ways to do them, and that's not even adding mods into the equation.

Sure, I'll get a list of what I must do on KSP. :D
