More solar panels

Seriously, we haven't had solar panels updated since 0.18 (more than a year) and we would really like new ones(for cool satellites).

The most obvious choice would be a circular one, or one the size of an ISS array!

well, I think for one thing we should remove the shielded solar panels, or give them more use. Just replace those 2 and we're fine I think...

The fact that solar panels are the very least parts modded yet may means stock ones are more than enough for the vast majority of people, and Lionhead Aerospace Inc mod contains some circular ones.

@Nemrav: not agree with you, they are good as-is and I mostly use these one on my ships. SP are just SP, what can they do more ?

The Stock Parts Rebalance mod does something to make the the ruggedized solar panels useful: the ones without the case can't be retraced. So, if you're doing anything other than orbital ops, use the shielded ones.

Circular panels would be cool, but it's not something the game really needs right now.

Not completely stupid, but there is solar panels are made of several layers so it would not be easy. However, making flexible ones should doable.

The shielded ones i think that are thinked to survive an aerobrake condition... I mean when they will implement this, shilded ones must have really stronger survivability respect the non shilded ones even if retracted...

I mean i found pretty strange that unshielded panels, can survive an aerobrake, they have such light structure even when retracted, sound resonable that only shielded ones can survive a violent aerobrake.

Btw i'll really like more indept electric management... I feel that electrics are more a problem than a fun addiction... I mean... Couple panels and a battery and u go everywhere... U didn't notice his presence until u run out of energy and then too late u're stuck...

Please more electrics and more energy consuming parts.

I want cased solar panels that don`t break and fall out of the case (leaving the case untouched) by a knock as slight as one that will break uncased panels...

I don`t want uncased panels to survive aerobraking that creates a plasma shockwave extended OR retracted (launch and normal aerobraking should not).

I`d like more parts to use up electricity so there was a need for more than just a couple of the smallest panels or a single RTG.

I want circular ones or those that are seen on Soyuz's. Both are incredibly hard to replicate, and modded panels always look cheap.

Kosmos has come great solar panels. Unfortunatelly, no collision mesh on the actual photoactive area, so you can't roll your Kerbal on it, and you can send a ship through it.
